My name is Reed Gibson and I am so excited to be teaching second grade next year and joining the Ashley team! A fun fact about me: my first name is actually Anna, but I have never actually gone by that. My parents just wanted everyone to think twice when trying to send me emails J.
This will be my third-year teaching. For the past two years I have been teaching first grade in Brighton, but decided it was time to move closer to home. I grew up attending DPS schools and knew that was the school district where I ultimately wanted to teach. I have heard so many wonderful things about the staff and felt so welcomed at Ashley during the interview process that I knew it would be a great place for me to be. When we are not under Shelter at Home restrictions, I love spending time outside hiking, reading, spending weekends in Grand Lake, and playing with my new puppy Mabel!
