Dear Families & Community Members,

Congratulations on reaching an exciting point in your scholar’s academic career; deciding where they will attend elementary school next year! My name is Liz TenCate and I am the proud principal of Ashley Elementary. I’m thrilled to invite you to learn more about the educational opportunities and experiences that Ashley Elementary has to offer and to tour our beautiful campus.

A school of innovation serving the Montclair, Stapleton and Park Hill neighborhoods, Ashley Elementary is a small, neighborhood school dedicated to serving our students through engaging, joyful and challenging learning experiences in a safe and caring environment. We are a diverse community that not only provides rigorous academics but also provides strong programming to cultivate the whole-child. There are several unique aspects of our school that make us stand-out:

One of the most diverse schools in the area, Ashley Elementary is a school that looks like the world our scholars live in.
A strong partnership with Denver School of the Arts; our extended day has Ashley scholars working with DSA students within all eleven majors, building portfolios to give them the experience and connections needed to apply and be admitted into the program.
A half-day 3-year-old program for our youngest scholars!
A strong student support team comprised of two special educators, a full-time psychologist and a support staff dedicated to coaching and supporting teachers as well as supporting ongoing social emotional health and wellness for our students.

I know that choosing the right elementary school for your child can be a daunting process; choice was never around when we were young.
