“Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” – Plato

I am a fourth generation Colorado native. I graduated from Metropolitan State University in 2014 with a Bachelor Degree in Music Education with an instrumental concentration. I began my music experience in elementary school playing trumpet and piano, and later I developed an interest for drum set. I started teaching privately at the age of sixteen and continue to do so at a professional level. I worked as the Band Instructor for East Elementary as well as the Lead Instrumental Instructor at Littleton Preparatory Charter School. I have participated in many performances through MSU Denver ensembles and other independent local groups. My enthusiasm for teaching and passion for music are the motives for my career as a music educator.

In my free time, I love being outside. I enjoy snowboarding, rock climbing, riding my bike, playing various sports, and anything else I can get my hands on.

I am extremely excited to express my passion for music and am even more excited to see what the students at Ashley are able to share with me. I am tremendously humbled to be part of the Ashley team and am ecstatic to get started!
