“I will not wait. I am passionate about my vision for the future. My course has been charted. My destiny is assured. I have decided heart.”

I am a native of Colorado and love the Rocky Mountains. Growing up in inner city Denver brought many adventures and often times adversity. With a single mom and 7 children in our family, life was not always easy. But today, I keep close contact with most of my siblings and we share great times together. I have a daughter and spend a lot of time with her, also.

I enjoying golfing in Denver and looking up at the still snow capped Rockies. Traveling while meeting new people and learning new languages is fun for me. I have been to Spain, Morocco, London, Mexico, Canada and Israel, as well as Jordan. Speaking to others in their native language is important for me so I speak English, Spanish, French, Hebrew and a little Japanese. But there is no place like home so my home is my sanctuary.

I live there with my two min pins, Chayce and Racine. They are both very active (hyper) dogs who jump high enough to bite my ponytail when it’s time for me to feed them. In my free time, I like to try my hand at watercolor art and sewing. Also, in my free time I walk, ride my bike, hike the trails of the rockies and listen to music. The Beatles are my favorite and I know all the words to their songs. I am also learning to write in calligraphy. I enjoy learning new things, learning keeps me alive. I attended CU Boulder all through graduate school and chose CU because my dad went there to study engineering. Even though I come from a family of engineers, all I ever wanted to be was a teacher…it is my passion to work with students.
