“It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.” – Vince Lombardi

I am a Colorado native, born and raised in this beautiful state, and have loved every minute of it. I enjoy spending time outside with my family, hiking, camping, and fishing. The more time we can spend outside the better. My wife and children love being active and trying new things across Colorado. I enjoy traveling; I have visited twenty different states in the U.S. and six different countries. I also love sports, especially football. I have been a coach at Denver West High School for the past four years and am currently the Defensive Coordinator.

After high school, I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder in Psychology with a Minor in Philosophy. Next, I completed my Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado in Denver in Special Education and taught special education for seven years. After that, I completed the principal license program at the University of Phoenix.

I am currently in my fifth year at DPS and my third year here at Ashley. I am proud to be part of the Ashley family and truly believe we have the best students in the entire district. I can’t imagine myself anywhere else.
