I saw a girl outside, she had a red shirt, blue pants, and she had a ponytail on her hair. The girl said “Hi!”

I thought in my mind, “Is she talking to me?” I could not open my mouth. I just stood still, finally my mouth opened.

She said, “Hi” again. I looked around and I pointed to myself and she shook her head fast.

I said, “Hi” to her, nervously. She asked me if I could come over. I felt nervous because how am I going to ask my mom if I could come over to her house. I said I would ask my mom.

I asked my mom if I could come over to play with the girl who lives in front of us. “Yes,” she said, “but you have to clean your room.” I ran like a cheetah to my room.

As soon as I got to my room, Kaitlin called and asked if she could come over. My mom said “No,” because I was taking a bath. But my mom was lying!

I asked my mom if I could come over now. She said, “Yes,” but after I left, Kaitlin called again to ask if she could come over now. My mom said “no” again because I went to sleep, but she was lying again.

So when I went to her house, I said, “What’s your name?”

“My name is Valeria. What’s yours?”

“My name is Lucy.”

When it passed 1 minute, Kaitlin showed up with her bike. “What are you doing with this girl?” she demanded in a loud voice. Valeria and Kaitlin were fighting. They were quarreling like tigers.

Then Kaitlin said, “Do you want to be my friend or hers?” I was thinking in my mind, “Who should I pick?” I asked myself, “Which girl is more agreeable?” I picked Valeria.
