Charlotte Braud-Kern

Hello, I am Charlotte Braud-Kern and I am the ELA-S Kindergarten and ECE teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years - 8 of them right here at Ashley. I have taught grades ECE through 3rd. Denver has been my home since 1997 but I have lived and taught school in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Chicago, Illinois. I grew up in a small town in northern Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Illinois State University. I also earned a Master’s degree in Bilingual Special Education from DePaul University in Chicago. My husband is a teacher as well and my daughter is a student in Denver Public Schools.
